I want to catch some pictures from a VOB file.
How and with which program can a do this?

wanna tell me where the capture button is in winDVD? -
hey stanwebber, i expanded the player display and i still can't find it....can you take a screenshot and show me exactly which button you're talking about?
i'm also trying to capture a dvd rip...not the original DVD if that makes a difference -
Just press the P-key, the picture will be saved to the intervideo\windvd\capture (or similar) directory.
