What is the difference between each of the divx containers (avi, ogm etc) and which should be used to gain maximum compatability with standalone players?
Also, is it ever likely that DivX will become as tight a standard as say DVD, and commercial products be released in the format. I doubt it myself, but I'd really like to be surprised!!!

Yeah avi, however there should be more and more players supporting mp4 and it is the official MPEG4 container.
