  1. Hi guys,
I want to convert some dvd's from NTSC to PAL and want to know if there a simplier way, other than what I think now:
-so I'm ripping the dvd, make it a single mpeg and convert it in PAL (I use Canopus for this), burn after.
    Any other simplier way ?
    Thanks.

  2. are you sure that you need to? many dd players have an optoin in their menu where you tell them what system your TV supports, then the player converts the video for you realtime. however, if you do need to convert to pal, you'll probably end up reencoding at some point. if your way works with no undesirable quality loss, stick w/ it.

  3. Yes, indeed.
I just talked today overseas and they setup the dvd to output PAL regardless the system of the DVD disc.
It's funny, but this player I bought in Walmart for $50CAD and does all this plus the dual-voltage and some stores on the web sell players as "multisystem" for ridiculous $
    Anyway, it's clear now.
    And thanks for your reply.
