You sure it wasn't just a bad burn? Does your computer play the Disc?

what's the media ID on the disc? Just curious? As well, what's your burner? Updated Firmware lately? Have you cleaned the laser on your standalone recently? The laser of your burner? These could all be factors.

Can the disc be read back on your PC? Can you complete a DVDInfo or CD-DVD Speed without errors? How about a Surface Scan on the disc in either of the programs I just mentioned?

Do you have a DVD Drive that can do PI/PIO tests..? Maybe it's readable in your PC drive, but still a sloppy burn..which your standalone dosnt like.

These could all be potential problems...
