  1. Is there any utility to de-mux DivX or Xvid video, manipulate the audio properties, and mux it back without loss in video quality?

One of my video clip had a very low audio output volume, need to increase it at least 300-400% louder (+ 9-12 db).

In the past, I simply demux the video and audio using VirtualDub, and Goldwave to increase volume.

If install proper audio codec and it will save Mp3/AC3/DTS/OGG to PCM wave, then I could easily convert it to MPEG-1 or MPEG-2 VCD/SVCD using TMPGEnc.

But now I bought a Shinco 8830 DVD player which support DivX/Xvid, I no longer have to compromise with any loss of video quality after the VCD conversion.

Any recommendation for a good Mux tool?
