  1. i´m converting vhs to dvd using ulead movie factory 3 trial.

after configuring the video, ulead says required disc space is 4,28 GB, and maximum available is 4,34 or like GB.

after creating the vob file there´s a message "not enough disc space".

how is it possible? suggestions are welcome...

(videos are mpeg2 352x480, 1800 kbps CBR, audio mpeg 128 kB. with these settings its about 5 hours on a single 4,7 GB recordable DVD.)

  3. theres enough hd space (some 70 GB).

ulead message says "out of disc space". what does this means?

i´m creating an iso image file, could it be related with the 4 GB limit for files under Windows (Win XP?).

That's only if you file system is FAT, NTFS supports large....Go to My Computer and right click your drive and select properties. The first tab or General tab will tell you the file system your using. If it's FAT32 you can't create a file larger than 4 gigs.

Well depending on your computer specs (which are not filled out), what your doing with the video, what format the video is in now etc. etc.. that's entirely possible.

You need to supply more details.
