  3. I tried to install a Printer with the Printer Cable Now it gives that error at startup even with the printer not installed.

    It's gives that error and then you have to go into the CMOS it's an old dell 450 Mhz and the only way you can get into Windows is if you hit restore settings and then save and exit and after windows loads up the network card won't work and in the deivice manager it has a Yellow X through it.

    Sounds an IRQ conflict. Try to change the IRQ setting for the printer port. You can usually select 3,5,7,9, or at least a couple of those. Change it until you find one that works.

    If that doesn't work, and you NIC is a PCI card, put it (the NIC) in a different slot.

    Either IRQ or I/O. You may need to change the address of the LPT port from the default of 378 to one of the other options listed.
    Nothing can stop me now, 'cause I don't care anymore.
