Not this place. You don't have 3.5 minimum (for tech and admin jobs), they don't even keep your resume, much less grant an interview. They can be selective because people almost break downt he doors to get on the waiting list here ....for everything from custodial staff to physicists

No ...salaried tech and administrative jobs. The other jobs that are covered by unions (custodian, secretary, machinist, material handler, electrician, etc.) are not covered by that requirement.

Sorry about jacking the thread about your good news zook. I wasn't trying to diminish what you have done. That's an excellent GPA, and a company would be nuts to only go by GPA anyways. Lots of people are book-smart, but couldn't find their ass with both hands in the dark. Others are world-smart and practical knowledge-educated. Given the choice, I'd rather have the second group working for me any day

If it hadn't been for taking the linux classes, my gpa would have been higher.

I honestly made a b in the first linux class and felt like I did not learn a thing.

The second one, I made a c and felt like I knew what I was doing.
