  1. I'm sure this is the wrong thread, but I'm new and wondered if anyone could direct me to the proper plug-in. I want to edit some of my own DVD movies (vob files) and have all software setup except for one minor thing. I'm using Adobe Premiere Pro and MainConcepts MPEG Pro Plug in for Adobe - everything's great except MPEG Pro Plug in does not support AC3 audio. They tell me they are working on the software but who knows when it'll be ready. I'd like to edit the dvd without the problems that occur with decompression/recompression, that's why if AC3 was supported it would be perfect. Is there another plug in that will allow me to do this with Premiere Pro or another editing software that will allow me to edit without any loss in video or audio quality? All the converters I've tried pretty much destroy the quality after conversion. Thank you. Michael

    @halon1:

    I'd suggest you start a new thread with your problem

    BTW, you might want to edit out the email adress ... unless you want to be knee-deep in SPAM by the end of the day ...
    If in doubt, Google it.

    halon1, Sorry, I can't help with your AC3 problem, but a hint with what jimmalenko said about editing out your email address.

    Go to your first post and click the 'edit' box to the top right of your post. Then you can delete your email address and resubmit your post. Then go to your second post (A copy of the first with no email) and delete it all and replace it with the word "EDIT' (A least that is how I would do it.) Any post here is here just about forever on the server, so you might want to correct this.
