  1. I have a Dell 2005fpw LCD monitor and want to watch TV and play XBOX on it. It has VGA input, DVI input (which is how my computer is hooked up), S-Video, and Composite. I have tried just hooking the XBOX up in the composite input, but it doesn’t look very clear. I was wondering what a good way would be to get XBOX and TV on the monitor. I was thinking maybe getting an XGA box (http://www.lik-sang.com/info.php?category=222&products_id=3235&) and a digital cable box. And just switching between the XBOX and TV when I needed to. I was also thinking about a TV tuner that has video inputs for the XBOX. The last method I was thinking was getting an X2VGA (http://www.x2vga.com/) which is a HD to VGA for the XBOX, it also has a VGA input, so I was wondering if there was a digital cable box that I could get that had VGA out so that I could just plug that into the X2VGA. Any information that anyone has on the pros and cons of these methods would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Dan

"XGA box" is unlikely to get better results
    here is another http://www.ramelectronics.net/html/video-vga_adapter.html or

    The X2VGA+ may work.
I'd make sure the return policy is adequate.

Using the Composite output from the Xbox is poor quality. I purchased the S-Video adapter for $20 and I am very happy with the quality. I do not have a HD TV with DVI input to compare the quality difference between S-Video and DVI.

If you use S-Video you do not need to switch your DVI connectors as each device is connected to a different input. Also they make DVI switch boxes for 2 or 4 inputs if that is what you want.
