Hi there,
I have some questions about encoding files for dvd authoring using tmpgenc:
-Should i encode mpeg2 files with audio (interleave audio with video) in order to import them into ReelDVD or Sonic DVDit?
- What is the sample rate for audio files for DVD authoring, 44.1 or 48Khz? My master file is allways create with 44.1 Khz. Should i resample it to 48 Khz?
Thanks!

I'm not sure about sonic or reel but I know that the files need to be two seprate files in other authoring software.
a seprate Video file and a seprate Audio file are needed by Pinnacle Impressions to "mux" them together. In TmpgEnc you can build an mpg file and then use the mpeg tools section to demultiplex the 2 streams.
Most DVD authoring packages will only accepts these 2 frequences so either should be okay to use. I personally would author to to for 48Khz.
