The SVCD that I create are in sync when I play them off harddrive. They are out of sync when I play them off cd. On my pc as well as on my standalone. Not only Nero 5.5 causes this, NTI cd-maker 2000 pro does the same thing. Videostream is faster than the audiostream.

Hans.

I have the same problem, but I have discovered that if I make a SVCD with a menu I have 360 ms delay in sound, but if I make a SVCD with the same MPEG-2 files the dalay is less than 100 ms, which is ok. I have a Nintaus N-9901 DVD player. I use VirtualDUB to misadjust the sound in the AVI before encoding with TMPEnc, then everything works fine. What my problem is that I don't know if it is a DVD related or MPEG related problem - what happens if I buy a new DVD player ?
