Hi,
I've been using OSex, Diva & mAC3dec to get tiny files at near DVD quality. Usually around 700MB a film. I'm exporting individual video and audio files then compressing them as 3vix & AAC then pasting them together and exporting as an mp4 file with the audio and video passthrough setting selected in QT. I've read that exporting 3vix with the QT passthrough mode allows you to view 3vix encoded content as mp4 without the special 3vix codec needed.
So far some of the movies I encode play through my eyehome fine. Others eventually seem to start to stall and only display the still mpeg "i" frames and not the tweens. I'm confused why some would work and other wouldn't.
Franky Handbrake is OK but the quality verses file size leaves alot to be desired especially once you've used 3vix encoded mp4 and aac audio.
Anyone have any experience with OSex, Diva, mAC3dec & eyeHome???? Any suggestions?
Thanks!!

I have an eyeHome and experience the exact same results as you. I have an AirPort base station (not AirPort Extreme), and all it likes to stream without a problem is SVCD-bitrate video (and music, of course).
