THE best place is RIMA.COM
They sell genuine Taiyo Yuden DVD-R discs. They always have the best price. They are reliable and have never been known to sell "fakes" because yes there are reports of Taiyo Yuden "fakes" about.
I am on the east coast and RIMA.COM is on the west coast so it takes about 1 week to get your stuff but they simply cannot be beat price wise as well as being reliable.
If you are in a pinch and need some DVD-R discs ASAP then look for FUJI DVD-R packages that say MADE IN JAPAN as these will be Taiyo Yuden DVD-R discs. BEST BUY is probably your best bet there.
Also if you buy retail store check out the Maxell DVD-R discs. The packages that say MADE IN JAPAN are again the good stuff. These also go on sale often at places like Staples or OfficeDepot. You can also get them at Wal-Mart.
As far as quality media goes that's about it.

I would check out Best Buy for Fuji - made in Japan on the label. They are Taiyo Yuden. I usually wait when they are on sale, 50 for 20 bucks + tax.

Otherwise, sales aside, you can't beat the price at RIMA.COM

A friend of mine has the Casio CW-75 and he uses these Taiyo Yuden DVD-R discs and that Casio prints real nice on them.
I also use these discs but I'm lazy and either write on them directly with a marker or better yet put them in a case with artwork and leave them blank.
I may have to get me one of those Casio printers eventually though because it does look nice with minimal fuss. Not all that crazyness the ink jet people have to deal with LOL

P.S.
Taiyo Yuden DVD-R is quality media. I don't trust DVD+R anything."The eyes are the first thing that you have to destroy ... because they have seen too many bad things" - Lucio Fulci
