I am looking to get some inkjet printable DVD's for my Canon Pixma IP5000 which has a tray for printing directly on to the DVD itself. I have been looking at Verbatim and Ritek, but am wondering what people's experience is with these, or if any other is recommended. I am printing full colour labels, edge to edge, so need to be good quality. Any advice much appreciated. I am in the UK by the way. Thanks...

Thanks.
On the pic below, do you know if you can print in the white bit on the inner part of the disc? This is one of the only discs that I have seen with a separate white part here, as most are either just plain plastic on inner section, or covered with an entire label across the disc surface. Unless this picture is just misleading...

Goto www.rima.com and look for DVD recordables that say they are inkjet printable (+r or -r as suits yourself)
Taiyo Yuden is supposed to be good.

What you want is full face media if you want to print to the hole. The Datawrite 8x Full Face Printable is good @ £5.25 inc VAT for 25SVCD2DVD v2.5, AVI/MPEG/HDTV/AviSynth/h264->DVD, PAL->NTSC conversion.

Why are those Verbatim's at cd-rmedia.co.uk so much more expensive than all the others. Nearly 3 times as much!? Is it is the 'photo printable' feature? Are they worth it?
