OK...dumb question here....don't pummel me.
Do all computer burned DVD-R's end up as DVD-ROM after burning? I just noticed after burning an image with DVDDecrypter that the disc shows up as a DVD-ROM. I honestly never cared to look before because no matter what I burn they end up extremely compatible.....never had someone say that one of my discs would not play in their machine.
THANKS...

No. This is only a DVD+R thing, and only accomplished with Bitsetting...some have this by default, others have options to do it.
Not all writers firmwaer currently supports bitsetting.

My TDK DVD-R's are showing up as DVD-ROM in DVDDecrypter's ISO read and write modes(after completion) though....I don't get it.
I know about the +R and bitsetting....my burner does not support bitsetting. -
If you are reading current profile in Decryptor, I think that is referring to your device not you media.
