Hi, I have an ATI 8500DV right now and I'm not happy with the capture quality. Things have always just seemed pixelated and dull/blurry. Is there another capture card by ATI or another company that gives a better picture? Is the new HDTV card from ATI better at analog capture?
Thanks

Have you tried these ATI AIW capture guides yet?
If used properly (NOT with factory settings!) then you will end up with very high quality encodes.

I had the 8500dv for almost 3 years and loved it. Used it almost every day (new system has a PVR350....miss the avi captures). If you tinker with the settings as lordsmurf said, you can get great results. However, I couldn't complain about the default settings which left me with great results as well.
