    hello everybody,

i now have a cyberhome multi region ch-dvd 300 and i tried to play some dvd-r recorded on a panasonic DMR-E30 and it can play but at each maybe 20 or 30 seconds or maybe a minute, it makes a shaking sound for a second but the picture seems to be ok (no skips).

i wanna know if anybody had a similar problem than mine or maybe my machine is defect.

i already know that the incompatibility between machines can happen.

so we have to live with it.

    thank you very much

  3. Could be a different problem. Maybe the media? DVD-Rs play fine on my CH-300.

    Brand means nothing.
You could stick in three "brands", yet all be CMC or something. Or all PRINCO.

There is something with the way a Panasonic stand alone DVD recorder creates a DVD disc that makes it less than 100% compliant.

So some DVD players have trouble playing these DVD discs.

My Cyberhome CH-DVD 500 cannot play them without excessive pausing.

I also have a Pioneer that is the same way.

However both of these DVD players have no problem with discs that I burn in my computer.

I think this problem has little if anything to do with MEDIA ... it's just a Panny stand alone DVD recorder quirk.
