What kind of a man are you? The guy is unconscious in a coma and you don't have the guts to kiss his girlfriend?

When I first heard the figure I thought it was a tremendous amount. After thinking about all of the expensive wine and liquor purchased at restaurants and bars I wasnt sure.that is 212,000 establishments selling $1000 worth of booze a day.

I guess two Americans you happen to sit next to represents a good cross section of 280 million people. Who can refute such overwhelming evidence?

As for spending money on booze, I don't drink, so I guess my manadatory amount is automatically deducted from my bank account and given to skid row bums to help make sure they pay their fair share.

I have no idea if they were american, and gave no indication that they were. perhaps you stereotype fat people as american?

You really don't want to muck about (English term) with the moderators. They kill bricks, choke sticks, and rocks in hospitals.

  15. I thought Australia, Germany or America was the top spender on booze per head.

It's one of them, just can't remember which one.

I still do a and a when I read the signs in stores about selling alcoholic beverages ...anyone under 16 is not permitted to buy alcohol....

On a side note...last Saturday morning I was driving out up my street and saw a strange sight. Apparently a driver thought that the owner of a parked car actually wanted his parked car up on the sidewalk instead of on the street where he initially parked it.
I had to look REALLY hard to figure out that it used to be a Fiat Stillo that had been "re-parked" by some thoughtful yet probably drunken good samaritan.
I'm almost positive that if the drunken good samaritan had ASKED.....the Fiat owner would probably have given him the keys in order to make the re-park job go a bit smoother....and a bit less messy....
