  1. I recently downloaded several bink videos. I didn't know what kind of format they were, but was amazed that when I clicked on them, they just started playing. Apparently in it's own builtin player and codec.

    Apparently I can take this file to any windows computer and just run it.

    Question: Does anything like this exist for Divx or similiar video format. I'd love to give some one a DVD-ROM with Divx movies on it and just say click on the movie to watch. Withought telling them to have a player and codec installed.

  2. You can use Camtasia Studio do the same thing. but for Divx not sure..

    Could also put mplayer compiled with CPU runtime detection enabled on the DVD/CD.
