That's wierd.... The prices on the media mail shipping at my post office are more expensive than priority mail.... at least that's what they have on their signs.
I always thought media mail was supposed to be cheaper, maybe they just screwed up their signage.... but it's been posted that way for at least a year now.... might have to ask them next time I'm in there...AFTER Christmas holiday is done! -

It's mostly eBay sellers charging big bucks for postage and then sending everything out via media mail.
