    My topic about 3:2 pulldown got moved there and I was like the only one with this many posts posting a topic in there. I spend so much time in OT anymore that I almost forget to visit the other forums.

    It's ok pyrate. You're still under the 1K mark. After that, you look bad in the newbie forum. Good news is that by then, you've made enough friends (and enemies) to just use PM and save face!

    It's the safe haven for video topics ... when we have no idea where something would fit.

    I never move something because of "newbie".
    We tend to move newbie stuff that fits in elsewhere (media, authoring, etc)
