    Hello--
I currently have my outlook express set up to check my hotmail account. However I would like to add my gmail account to this as well. Is there a way I can utilize outlook express to check the 2 email acounts? I tried doing it through using steps in this link, http://gmail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=13276#manual, but it didn't work for me. A Free Gmail account to whoever can help me out! Thanks

You can only access that link you mention if you have a gmail login, so I couldn't read it, but it is as simple as going to 'Tools' -> 'Accounts' and set up the second account and tick the 'Include this account when receiving mail' option.

You can set up Outlook or Outlook Express to check many emails accounts!

    Here's how do it:

When Express open, hit Tools (at top of screen), and then hit Accounts (from the Menu)
In the new window, hit Add. Mail... Then follow instructions in wizard screen. You will need know how to set up Outlook Express with Google Mail get thier instructions.
It will ask you for your name it will ask for e-mail address. You will need to know if you have set up in POP3 or some other protocol. It ask for you username and password.
    Hit finish.
Then you click the new account hit properties, check box "Include this account when receiving mail or synchronizing."

I hope this helpful. I can't open the page you have for it says Logon Required!

There is a link for auto-configuration of OE and other e-mail clients available in the Gmail help center, so you don't have to do much of anything. Just download and run it. You can also do it manually, but the auto-config is easier to use.

Also, be sure you have also enabled POP access in preferences. So there are basically two different steps, and if you don't do both, it's not going to work.

I just did it myself today, so I can tell you it does work, and it is quite simple.

thanks for the help, just one more thing. The Pop3 mail was the hold up (my hotmail was running from http). So what I did was remove the hotmail account and added the gmail account which worked fine. When trying to reinsert the hotmail account, and using Pop3, it is asking for the Outgoing Mail Server. What should I put there? Thanks again.

I thought you were talking about re-inserting your HOTMAIL account. As I understand it HOTMAIL is only HTTP so you will need to select HTTP in the 'My incoming mail server is..' and select 'Hotmail' in the 'My HTTP mail service provider is..' and then enter your account details.
