Hi!
Does anyone use or have recommendations on video clip management
software? I am looking for a program which will allow the user to quickly
browse through and play video clips that are stored on a hard drive.
Some things I am looking for:
* Mainly will be used for playback of MPEG2 video stored in VOB containers.
* Be able to present both a title view and a "gallery view" of the video clips. Would like to be able to customize the image associated with the clip -- that is, it needn't always be the first frame of the video (which is blank in most of my clips).
* Be able to create a virtual clip which is a sub-portion of a real clip.
* Would be nice to associate meta-data with a clip entry which can also be
searched.
I don't know if anyone has seens anything like this, but if you have, please let me know!
cheers,
vobnovice

Yes, but is several thousands of dollars. It's made for broadcasters. I know that doesn't really help. Maybe I'll try to worite one.
