From bargains forum if you use the 'XP10' coupon code the total price is $37.80 and that includes free shipping.

Anyone ever buy these? My search brought back very favorable feedback so i'm probably gonna buy some. Does anyone know if they are cheaper anywhere else?

shop4tech has been repeatedly accused of selling bogus Ritek products. I do not know if it is true or not but if they have been accused I personally won't chance it. It is not worth trying to save a whole 3 or 4 bucks.

tidy, "who" has accused shop4tech of selling bogus media? I've read some of those posts on here and they are really laughable as clearly the people writing them are make believe. Other forum members have almost proven the stories are make believe and I have never read a single piece of factual evidence to support any of those posts so if you use a little common sense, and I do mean little, it isn't hard to figure out.

It also seems at least from what i've read that there are a few forum members that will attack posters when those posters say shop4tech is great. They'll accuse the person for working for shop4tech or other ridiculous things...it happened to me once and I cried laughing saying how sad these people are. I took it personal til' I saw the same few people do the same stuff to about 4 or 5 other members. Then I realized what those few members were saying was very false as well.

I honestly would be interested in reading anything with facts on any of what you said though. Please link them if you find them.

Shop4tech has many critics, and for EXTREMELY valid reasons. And while they have had a lot of fake media in the years, I'm not aware of fake RITEK media being sold through them.

That said, however, it may be good to note that they are NOT an authorized Ritek reseller. This is the AUTHORIZED list, and the ONLY way to guarantee legit media: http://www.ritekusa.com/abwheretobuy.asp

Ritek is not a great media anymore, and $38 shipped is an average price. I can walk into Best Buy right now and pick up 100 TYG02 or YUDEN002 8x media for under $41 (including tax). A few dollars more would yield MAXELL media from Office Depot. A few dollars less would yield PRODISC from any number of stores online and offline.

If "Ritek" is printed right on the Hub, does this make them real? I never really cared, I'm cheap when it comes to DVD media, i buy what ever is on sale.

A few (quite a few) years ago a company was almost put out of business by bogus accusation that the logo on their products was a sanatic symbol. Turned out it wasn't turn, but they were still almost bankrupted- guess whether it was correct or not was no matter to the people who lost their job when the company sales bottomed out.

I wonder if you'd feel that way if you were accused of being child molester?
