  1. Hi
I would like to cut and splice some dvd for a party(80 music and video)
I started by using virtualdubmpeg and then editing them in media studio. The sound goes out of sinc and it just takes forever and then you have to mpeg it. I cut them in to each song and placed them on a dvd.
Several songs later burnt but songs are seperate chapters and dont fade in to one another so then I go back to media studio and make them one long film at which point the computer can take it no more obviously do big plus the sound is so far out it has becom comical.
Plan b edit together old video fotage and dub different music. I like this plan but before I crack in to it over xmas has anybody got a better or quicker way?
    happy advent

    Hi sunandrain,

    Welcome to the forums...

    1. Rip your DVD(s) to your hard drive.

    2. Use the "Add video" (I think it's called that" in TMPGEnc DVD Author and you can set it to just the desired portion.

    3. Repeat 2 untill all your clips are put in.

    4. Author and burn...

    Carpe diem.
