I’ve been looking for the ultimate DVD player for DVD-MP3 playback and the two Pioneers mentioned above seem to be the best I’ve come across, after browsing these forums. I have two questions left though after reading the user manual:
1. Are they able to read nested folders? No indication in the manual.
2. How well do they handle a large number of folders?
The manual says that there MAY be problems if there are more than 16 folders; it will show generic names such as F_033. Does anyone have experience of this?
With a 1,000 tracks, it makes sense to organize the tracks into folders and 16 is a small number.
My other choice is the Philips DVP720SA, which is a newer machine and has a better spec for DVD, but the MP3-DVD handling while better in some ways is inferior for my specific needs.
Great forum, thanks.
