    But not everyone wants to rip a DVD to DivX. But for those that do, I'm sure this is a great guide. The rest of us at "VCD"help.com that want to make VCD's can't use this guide though.

    Yup, I agree, most people want their movies to be playable on the DVD Player, and you can't do that with DivX.

    nah, probably not a typo, just tell us in your post that its for divx instead of just saying that its foolproof. that way if people want to make vcds they wont have to waste their time going to that link
