That's right, 12-1. What a season for the men in black and Big Ben so far!
It's a shame the AFC is so overloaded with good teams, I believe there are at least 3 or 4 that are better than the NFC. Getting to the Super Bowl is going to be a tall order I methinks...New England, Indy, San Diego...sheesh.

Abso-*******-luetly!!!! I bleed black and gold.

On here we have a small sect who like the Lions Kind of like hoping the sun will rise in the west one day.....
There are Gaywad fans...er....I mean cowboys fans here
Somebody on here likes the Chargers...hell, I have never ever met a charger fan before...I didn't know they existed
Oh yea, and there a few Iggle fans about...
And at least one Raider fan
But I say screw em' all...

I would ask you how you are from Philly but like the Steelers but I am from Ohio and love the Steelers. Hate Browns, Bengals and Cowboys.

let's find out how old you are....My all-time favorite Cowboy is Jackie Smith....do you know who that is?

I'm about 1.5 hours from Oxford and saw Ben play in college quite a bit, I was hoping they would take him

    Myron Cope?
I list him as one of the reasons I left Pittsburgh in the first place.....
I will NEVER understand how people can turn down the TV volume every Sunday and put the radio(with Myron Cope) on instead. He is the prime example of other broadcasters paying homage to someone as a great broadcaster....just because he's been around so long. He's a stammering idiot.
But of course I'm a Steeler fan....a Penquin fan FIRST...but a Steeler fan also. ...

Not much of Penguin fan this year are you? No NHL sucks, now I'm left with the NBA which I can't stand to watch...I would rather watch a 24 hour marathon on the mating habits of turtles than to watch an NBA game. College basketball is saving me so far, but if I really wanted to watch a bunch of guys dribble in their shorts I'd just cruise by the local old folks home.

I haven't heard a Myron Cope broadcast. I live on the western side of Ohio, near Dayton.

I'm just hoping that we can hang on and finish out 15-1 and make New England come to Pittsburgh. I'm not even worried about the Clots, Manning and the boys will have to come out of their warm dome and play in either Pittsburgh or New England and will lose. San Diego same thing.

If it ends up being Pitt and Philly in the Bowl, I would like to see them play it at Penn State...won't happen, but would be awesome.

I know I want my NHL!!! Once footballs over I have NOTHING!

I don't like basketball - no defense. There's nothing else out there in the winter.

    Except maybe curling on cbc...

Yes I am! I have the best of both worlds. I loved the Steelers sicne I was old enough to walk and talk. (late 60's) hehe

My Hawkeyes have the same color scheme, which is cool!

Let's hope Ben and the defense can keep up what they are doing. When Ben had a downer day the defense seems to step it up and pull them through. Have you seen how easy the Patriots remianing schdule is??

I am a Philly fan for everything but Football...don't ask why or how, it's just the way it worked out for me.

I have a bad feeling about the Bills game....the Raven game isn't going to be a picnic either..

I'm a Raven's fan and believe me when I say the Steelers have earned my respect. The Ravens will most likely have to beat the Steelers to make it to the playoffs, unless the can beat the Colts this Sunday. If they can do that then watch out... but as of today I'd pick the Steelers to go all the way this year.

    Good Luck

    This may answer you question....
The Steelers' helmets used to be gold with the players' numbers written on the side of the helmets. In 1962, Republic Steel, located in Cleveland, suggested that the team use the "steelmark" as a helmet logo. The steelmark was created by the American steel industry and often appears on steel products. It is a circle enclosing three hypocycloids and the word 'Steel'. The colors of the hypocycloids represent the three main components used to make steel; yellow for coal, orange for ore (iron), and blue for steel scrap.
