Canopus TwinPact 100

Looks like canopus has released some new products. I searched and did not see any post about it. So here goes.

I had heard of the ADVC-110, but not the twinpact.

I wonder if anyone here has used one first hand. I am curious to know how either of these units are working out.

From what I can gather, the 110 is just the 100 but can be bus-powered (and it's silver )

I am VERY tempted to save up for the TWINPACT100. It would complete me.

Hey jimmalenko,

I wonder if anyone here has used one first hand. I am curious to know how either of these units are working out.

I put down the extra $30 for the 110, couldn't resist the thought og having one less wire to deal with. It can be powered with a power supply if you were not connecting to a powered 6 pin firewire port.

Can't give you a comparison but from what I know besides the power it's identical to the 100. Works great for me.

I first came here becuse of the false MV issue I was having with a ATI AIW, it captured that tape perfectly. I wasn't using the button hack either, if anyone wants to tell me how the hack works specifically I'll give it a try.
