  1. Hi ChrissyBoy,

first let me congratulate for your great program.

    Found 2 problems with V2 Beta 6.

    1. Some Asset files can't be added to the asset list. I'm selecting them from the File Open dialogue, but they're not added to the list in the bottom of the window. No message whatever. Using 1.5 those files are being processed, however 1.5 can process them.
In the logs that V 1.5 produced it talks about the files being in RIFF format and VCDGEAR corrects them before processing.
Made a test and copied a AVSEQ01.MPG of a SVCD and a AVSEQ01.DAT of a VCD to disk. Both couldn't be placed in the assets and V 1.5 was processing them.

    2. Had 2 occasions with 2 separate files, which gave me a Buffer underflow. I didn't notice it first, but i saw suddenly the log file being > 2MB and the resulting MPEG file > 28 GB. I needed to cancel ffmpeg in Task manager.

Again V 1.5 was processing them without any problems.

The log shows for both occurence the same address.
Unfortunately i don't have the files anymore, since i deleted them after burning the DVD.

Here are some lines of the log.

    Helmut,

    Thanks for your beta testing.

RIFF files are not supported yet.

Had 2 occasions with 2 separate files, which gave me a Buffer underflow.
    This was resolved. (i think):

  3. ChrissyBoy,

fine with RIFF, asume it'll come later.

Downloaded the latest build and Buffer underflow seem to be gone.

    2 rather small things i've noticed in V 2:
    1. File - > Exit
does nothing. you can't close the program like that.
    2. File -> Save as
Saves the file, but normally i should see in the Title of the window the filename choosen, like in other windows programs.
However when now clicking "Save" to save the work, the "Save as" dialogue opens up again. Just as if the program forgot the file i saved previously to.
Same thing happens if you saved a file before and you start the program by double clicking on the file.

    regards,

    Helmut
