Just got a new DVR 510 with Dishnetwork and I see a large connector on the back (24Pin?) for future expansions... coudl this be connected to a PC, possibly via a parallel port or something, to transfer video directly from the DVR harddrive to my PCs?
Is that legal?
I have a Dazzle capture device (which sucks by the way) which I could connect to the DVR through, but then I have to convert from AVI to MPEG later.
