I just noticed that Future Shop is selling their Kodak 100 packs (+/-R's) at $69.99, I don't know what the masses here say about them but I've had really good luck. They're rated at 4X but all of the ones I've had burn at 8X - and not a single coaster (out of the 20 or so +R's I've used so far).
I'fe you're in the Calgary area, Memory Express (www.memoryexpress.com) is selling 50 packs of Ritek G05's (-R's) for $29.95. I just checked their site and it looks like they're doing web sales now.

The monster thread is quite old. Some of the links roads nowwhere.
Here are other sites:
www.radioshack.ca 30$ for 15 verbatim 2x-WTF
Let's be serious:
www.blankdvdmedia.com
www.ncix.com
I do order from blankmedia.ca. Choice and price are excellent.
Service is very good.
I do not like their single dvd case, but their double dvd case is good. They're not from the same manufacturer.
Case at blandvdmedia are pretty cheap - shipping included. I have not tried them but I was planning to give them a try soon.
Edit: BJ_M you've posted too fast! -
www.bestbuy.ca has a couple of good deals right now on spindle of 100 8X Vakoss (Optodisk) for $50 CAN and on spindle of 25 Sony 8X for $10 CAN after a $5 rebate.

Staples has dumped their Fuji -+R 4X line at 5 for $6. These are Japanese made MCC. Wal-Mart lowered the price of a 10 pack of Maxell 4X to $13.95. Those are Japanese made Taiyo Yuden. Best snap 'em up while you can. Futureshop also has the 10 pack Maxell but make them price match Wal-Mart.

I live in the north and I have to buy online to get a decent price. I have bought disks, cases and R300 ink from blankmedia.ca and I just started buying disks from www.media-n-more.ca 'cause the prodisc 4x were cheaper. It looks like most of their stuff is a bit cheaper so I will probably continue to buy there. Shipping seems fine from both places. I suppose if I buy anything before Christmas I will have to wait while Canada post ships all those presents. I used to buy from tigerdirect.ca but the shipping cost was a killer.
