DVD-R To MPEG 2

Hi,

I am using a Panasonic DMR-E55 DvD Recorder to capture VHS-C and Video 8mm to DvD i also wish to rip it to mpeg from the DvDs, i have used Ulead DVD Workshop 2, Ulead DVD MovieFactory 2 LE but cant Ulead DVD MovieFactory 2 as i keep getting Error and it will not copy, i also try to use DVD Shrink 3.1.

P.S. The dvd are all 6o mins or 2 hours.

have you tried to copy the entire dvd to your hd? maybe problem with the media.

hi,

the pc will not let me copy the files to the hd, i tryed other makes of
disks and they all do the same

DVDdecrypter should rip the DVD to your hard drive for you. It works for my DVD+R recorded disks.
When DVD shrink won't rip a disk I use DVDdecrypter.

VR mode discs won't work with DVD-Video ripping method.
