hi everyone. just started playing with dvd workshop. nice easy to use program with dual audio capabilities unlike tmpgenc dvd author. imported my vobs, made my menus, then burned to my dvd output folder. nice and simple......butttttttttttttttt
when i played my authored dvd in powerdvd. works great, looks nice, menus are smooth with motion and sound in the background. however, each of my menu buttons are TITLES not CHAPTERS. so when i play the darn thing and press the 'next' button it doesn't go to the next song/chapter. darn it. played around with it a little more and found that if i add each vob title into one button on the menu those act like chapters but i don't get a separate button for each chapter.
my question is how do i add or make chapters or one button in the menu for each chapter i want to place in my final dvd? thanks ahead.

You can set chapter points for each title. To do so, play each title in the player window. Advance the slider to the point you want. Right under the the player screen and slightly to the right side of the slider bar, you can find a little button with a "+" mark on it. Click on the "+" mark and it will set a chapter point for you. Repeat as many times as you want for additional chapter points.

i see. i guess i will have to join a big long vob and then cut chapter points. i guess it will have to do until i find a better alternative. thanks for the quick fix.
