Micro$oft is just greasing a few palms in the hopes that they can catch the actual producers/distributers of the pirated software. As Qui Gon Jin says, "There's always a bigger fish".

what happens to those poor saps wh dont read the fine print "those who bought machines with fake copies pre-installed " and fess up about their home-installed pirate copy .. this alone will cover the cost.

Nice to see you can get a max of 5 fresh new legit copies as well, providing you have reciepts...... Like you always get with the er, none legal stuff..... All for the price of postage... Tight fisted gits....Not bothered by small problems...
