    Everytime I start the program, it tells me the mpeg2enc lib is not installed, please re-install it.
    i do, and quit. re-launch it comes back again.
    Am i missing something?

    0.0.9p requires Mac OS X 10.3.x. Are you running that?

    Also make sure that you load the correct mpeg2enc file which should have a size of 188524 bytes.

    Case--yes, running 10.3.5.

    Major, so
    the file listed on the site, which as a byte count of 1.1 MB
    (1196360)is incorrect?

    Major so I downloaded the one linked here:

    For every other user that want's to download binary stuff. Without compiling for the own machine you can download:
    and it came up 184kb, and now ffmpegx seems to be fine.
