    Hello,

You only need dvdshrink if it doesn't fit on a dvd5. If you have a dual layer burner than you can just do iso read/write on any dvd.

whuut?! /\ no! hah. on dvd decrypter it just stops at 8% and the speed goes from like 4x reading slowly down to 0 and says unknown time left, and then just tries to read again and starts saying read errors and goes to like 20 and then will say abort or retry and tried retry and no good... and so just abort it

    I WAS joking

It does sound like there's a read error, most likely caused by a scratch. You could try a scratch repair kit, or maybe even a different DVD-ROM to read the disc. You could also try tweaking the DVDDecrypter settings to allow for read errors, but plow on regardless. If any of these methods don't work, I'm afraid you're SOL.
    If in doubt, Google it.

I know man, I was only playing.. Yeah, I hooked up my old dvd rom drive and it didn't do any better.. but it did work for another disc that my NEC wouldn't read well... The disc looks like it has some sort of pit on it. its an original, and the top label part looks fine, but you look at the shiny bottom part, and the shiny part is kinda wavy looking in the size of a pin head, like its pitted, but not sure what is really wrong, its on the inner part near the cd hole, so thats proabbly the problem, and when i go to play it on the first episodes, it will skip and stuff.. so oh well =\
