Setting DVD disc ID when burning with nero or Imgtool?

Hey all,

I've been successful in backing up my DVD's using shrink and burning with imgtool, however, the one problem I've had is that I cannot properly name my DVD's.

What I mean is that when I insert my burned dvd into my computer, the disc ID shows up as "NEW_DISC" even though I enter the movie name into imgtool before burning.

Any ideas why this might happen? It's not a big deal, except that I often have discs in my machine and I either have to eject them or play them to identify the disc.

I also have the same problem when using Nero to burn. No matter what I type in the DVD ID field, the disc always comes out as "MY_DVD" or whatever the default is for Nero.

Make sure you have both Joliet and ISO checked on the DVD label tab in NERO. That is all I can think of. Make sure you have the latest version of NERO too.

I have version 6.0.0.0 of Nero. I'll check to make sure that Joliet and ISO are checked.
