  1. I have a problem with CCE 2.50 since I changed to Windows XP os. The problem is that the cce crashes everytime I try to load a frameseverfile. Is there anyone who have an idea about what is wrong???

By the way I use the same way of doing things as I have always done, that is: Rip with smartripper->turn off aviproxy->convert with DVD2AVI->convert that file with VAFPI->turn on aviproxy->open file in Virtualdub->start frameserving->open frameserved file in CCE....

    Hope someone can help me...

Try AviSynth and mpeg2dec, if it works you'll also gain 20%+ encoding speed.

Quick question....what CPU do you have..The reason for asking is that I was using a Celeron 500 on a giga-byte board. CCE supports 533 and above with the celeron, so It kept end tasking CCE in Windows XP. I have now installed a 900 mhz celeron and CCE works fine on my XP build...I suggest checking your CPU against the cinemacraft site.

  4. This happens to me as well - here's my workaround...... I'm usually using a d2v file and MPeg2Dec.

I use VFAPI to create a d2v_vfapi.avi file - drag that to CCE, do everything as though I was going to use the avi file, then save an ecl file.

Then I create my avs file and edit the ecl file with a text editor with 2 modifications - change the input file to the avs file, and change the width from 720 to 480 (you'll see both of those in the ecl file).

When you load the ecl file into CCE, it will NOT crash.
