    My kids and dear ole' Dad cam with each other but it seems that Yahoo's "Hi SPeed Mode" isn't very good nor is it reliable.

    Does anyone know of a good cam software alternatives. Not sure I want a service based tool (Paltalk, Camtasia, etc) ... more of a direct connect. Any other hi speed, hi quality camming alternatives out there. Thanks

    Good old Microsoft NetMeeting works very well for me.

    In XP, goto Start -> Run and type conf.exe and it should fire up.

    Hmmm... didn't even think about Netmeeting... they have a cam mode eh? I'll have to check that out. Thanks
