  1. Greetings
I need to put 3 dvd's (Star Wars first 3 movies) stripped of all menus and extras, the movies need to play back to back and loop the entire dvd if possible and auto start an inserstion if possible. The video needs to look good but not great so it can be compressed if needed.
I know this may be asking a lot, all help is appreciated as I know nothing about doing this (ie software etc).
    TIA,
    Zuukz
PS..this is for a friend of mines african gray parrot who loves the movies..hence the need to run and play without a menu.

I think DVDShrink in reauthor mode might be the best to do what you need to do. Rip each movie to a separate folder on your hd, then load the first one into DVDShrink. Drag the main movie title from the right to the left, then use the DVD Browser to navigate to the second one. Drag the main movie title from the right to the left (putting it underneath the first one), then use the DVD Browser to navigate to the third one. Drag the main movie title from the right to the left (putting it underneath the second one). Click Backup button and job's right.

    More extensive guides:

    If in doubt, Google it.

  4. Since you're a self-described newbie, it's probably best to try Jimmalenko's suggestion. Be advised it'll be pretty shitty looking at 6 hours plus and a bitrate of approx 1,500 kbits/sec.

If you're dissatisfied, you could add an intermediate step: Rip each movie in DVDShrink, reauthoring movie only. Then run each one through DVDRebuilder at Half D1. Then compile with Shrink as outlined. The result will be noticeably better.

If you get more ambitious, look at guides over there <---. For instance DVD conversion to VCD, and putting multiple VCDs on DVD.

    Good luck.
    Pull! Bang! Darn!
