Some of you may remember this picture from the top 10 worst album covers thread. Well, for those that thought all the artists on that list were never to be heard from again, check this out:

Now I wonder which one is John Hall...WASHINGTON - The Bush campaign abruptly stopped using the 1970's hit "Still the One" at campaign rallies Friday after the songwriter, no fan of the president, claimed the Republicans never got permission.
John Hall (news), a former Democratic county legislator in upstate New York, co-wrote the song and recorded it with his band Orleans in 1976. He complained on Friday morning about the campaign playing the song at the president's events.

someone should report the bush camp to the RIAA , they bootlegged the song and didn't pay royalities -- not a whole lot of diff. from sharing it on the net really ..

i really wish i had not seen that cover again either --
damm - that is awefull -- i thought hall and oats (whatever) covers were bad (and many many other 70's groups)"Each problem that I solved became a rule which served afterwards to solve other problems." - Rene Descartes (1596-1650) -

John Hall is very anti-Bush
Not to get into politics, but if you remember the No Nukes concert done at the world trade center back in '79, he was a part of that project and wrote the song, Power.
Along with Springsteen, Jackson Browne, Bonnie Raitt, etc- they've been trying to preach and push for a long time and forewarned the troubles ahead with the middle east.
It's eerie and ironic that they held the concert for a nuclear free world in front of the world trade center. -
That has to be the gayest album cover...ever!
Hmmm...on second thought I think this is:

That album cover certainly has to be way way up there with the gayest ever.

These are pretty bad too
And couldn't help but think of Off Topic when I saw these

Some of those came from the site the Orleans cover was on.
BTW, I'm tempted to buy that Joyce album - if it can be found -
That Joyce album looks exquisitely lame and boring. I'm betting it isn't speed metal
The Wham album ..well ....
And the "Reverend in Rhythm" ...am I the only one who is picturing choir boys ..... -

Wow, I actually have this album. And no I am not gay. I am a metal maniac! I remember I had some friends that were really huge Manowar fans. One of them went all the way to Philadelphia from New York to see them. -

I happen to be a very big fan of Fleetwood Mac, and I picked out this cover myself -
Not even the only time Mick Fleetwood posed in drag
It's a great album, btw.
I also like a few Hall & Oates' stuff, especially their most recent album.
FWIW, I have nothing against gays either...if I offended anyone, my apologies.
Thought some of these covers were funny though. -
Some things have really changed since the 70's....
