Is their something better than tpmg??It took me 2 days to encode a 740mb movie file and when it was done it had 4hours 24min and no sound and the avi file had 1hour 24min..So thats why I was wondering if there is a better way to encode my movie..So I can make a vcd...

try lsx mpeg 1 encoder it is fast and made for avi files but i wont have the same quality output has the great TMPGEnc or you can try CCE 2.50
