Thats expensive for 5 discs. Try verbatim, they are supposed to be decent dual layer media.

  5. I've found the Verbatim +R discs (you can now get dual layer -R from Verbatim but have not tried them) to be the most reliable I have tried to date and would recommend them - plus on my 109 they burn at 6x... the first one I burnt I thought "hey, instant coaster" as they're rated at 2.4x, but they all burn like that and they're bloody good if a bit pricey.

The other ones I'm using with mixed success is the Ritek D01 media, and while they work generally the readability of them can be a bit flaky and I've also had a few be unreadable on a few consecutive blocks rendering them useless.

I would also recommend SVP, they're a good company to deal with and their after sales service is excellent should you ever have the need to use it. It is also worth signing up to their buyer's club newsletter as they frequently do special offers like 99p shipping weekends for their members.

  7. Yep, they're the ones.

Try some of the Verbatim +R's (eg http://www.svp.co.uk/acatalog/dbllayer.html) and see what happens. Alternatively the other big players at the moment seems to be Ricoh (although I have not found a supplier of these in the UK yet) and CMC Magnetics, who make the Datawrites on the page above. I have not tried these yet - I have some on order - so watch this space...
