    I received a quanity of DVD+R media for Xmas and found my DVD player WILL play DVD+RW but WILL NOT play DVD+R. I have read about Piodata firmware for the Pioneer 108 and am anxious to learn if I can use that firmware in my Pioneer 106.

    you can not use 108 firmware on a 106
