CDEX Problems

I recently reformatted my PC, well not recently but around 6 months ago and didn't need to rip any new CDs to MP3 until now...I installed the new version 1.5 and for some reason it won't recognize the new CD drive I put it...it's a Samsung 52x CD-RW/DVD combo drive and there is no drop down for my drive...I tried all the generic drives and nothing seems to work....does this mean I have to go back to my old POS Lite-On that kept having read errors?

I had same problems when I used Musicmatch Jukebox, after installation and restart, suddenly PC wouldn't recognise my DVD or CD rom! I had to do a system restore, and ended up using CDEX instead. Maybe you should look around web for another CD ripping software, might be okay then?
