  1. My son gave me a CD that someone had done for them, a couple of slideshows done up in 2 WMV files. He wanted me to attempt to put it on DVD for him since they don't have a way to play it on CD (no computer). I was able to use ASFCutGUI to join them together so that I could convert to a DVD format, but it isn't really a smooth transistion from the first slideshow to the next. What I'd like to do is add maybe 5 seconds of black screen in between the two files as a buffer. Any suggestions on how to create a file such as this?

    Thanks in advance!

If you have TMPGEnc you could import a "black" jpg or bmp pic and use a 5 second wav (open sound recorder in windows and record nothing for 5 seconds) and export a black mpeg2

or, if you have Windows XP with Windows Movie Maker, basically the same thing. Import a black pic, drag it to the timeline, and export another WMV file...
