I need to buy a DVD player for my room and I have a few questions about Pioneer 343.
1) I have heard that audio rate of anything but 224 give it problems. Is this true.
2) I have heard it has problem with NTSCFilm for SVCD. IS this true?
3) What is the support for XSVCD? Any problems. Does it play all resolutions ok, etc. etc.?
4) The manual states only 74 minute CDs can be played, the standard. Do 80 min cds work or do they glitch.
That's it! Any answer would be much appreciated.

Cant help you with audio since I never encode anything higher than 224, Film problems are fixed buy using 3:2 pulldown on playback, XVCD's that I've tried all worked up to 3mbs. Only tried 352x480 and 480x480. I have the 333 and 343 pioneer.
