    I got a Mintek 1600 two years ago--
    After suggestions from this site.

    Whats the newest all around best DVD player as far as price and playing just about everything you throw at it??

    everybody has their own opinion. i love my philips. i would say the one thats on sale is gonna be the best dvd player
